My approach to the concept of Qabalistic Pathworking has been driven further and further away from the Creative Visualization/Astral Tourism/Guided Meditation versions more and more these last few years, as I have concluded that I have little use for the more imaginative style, especially those that use Tarot imagery. I have grown to develop my own way of working with the Paths and Sefirot in a prayerful manner that invokes the Virtues and qualities of a given set of aspects of the Tree without using any visualization.

At this point I am unsure of what to call this method, nor do I have much concern for labels or neat little packages when it comes to doing your own thing. If anything, I’d arrange some tealights in the form of the Tree of Life and light them as I pray through their Divine Names and their attributes as I proceed. Appropriately…
