A ONCE IMMENSE SUBMERGED CONTINENT

In the “Theosophist” (August, 1880), we wrote: “We have as evidences the most ancient traditions of various and wide-separated peoples – legends in India, in ancient Greece, Madagascar, Sumatra, Java, and all the principal isles of Polynesia, as well as the legends of both Americas. Among savages, and in the traditions of the richest literature in the world – the Sanskrit literature of India – there is an agreement in saying, that, ages ago, there existed in the Pacific Ocean, a large Continent, which by a geological cataclysm was engulfed by the sea, 1 (Lemuria). And it is our firm belief . . . that most, if not all, of the islands from the Malayan archipelago to Polynesia, are fragments of that once immense submerged Continent. Both Malacca and Polynesia, which lie at the two extremities of the ocean, and which, since the memory of man never had, and never could have any intercourse with, or even a knowledge of each other, have yet a tradition common to all the islands and islets, that their respective countries extended far, far into the Sea: that there were in the world but two immense continents, one inhabited by yellow, the other by dark men; and that the Ocean, by command of the gods, and to punish them for their incessant quarrelling, swallowed them up. Notwithstanding the geographical proof that New Zealand, the Sandwich and Easter Islands, are at a distance from each other of between 800 and 1,000 leagues, and that, according to every testimony, neither these nor any other intermediate islands, for instance, the Marquesan, Society, Fiji, Tahitian, Samoan, and other islands, could, since they became islands, ignorant as their people were of the compass, have communicated with each other before the arrival of Europeans; yet they one and all maintain that their respective countries extended far toward the West, on the Asian side. Moreover, with very small differences, they all speak dialects evidently of the same language; and understand each other with little difficulty; have the same religious beliefs and superstitions; and pretty much the same customs. And as few of the Polynesian islands were discovered earlier than a century ago, the Pacific Ocean itself being unknown to Europe till the days of Columbus, and as these islanders have never ceased repeating the same old traditions since the Europeans first set foot on their shores, it seems to us a logical inference that our theory is nearer to the truth than any other. ‘Chance would have to change its name and meaning, were all this due but to chance alone.’ ”

“A great series of animal-geographical facts,” declares Professor Schmidt, writing in defence of the hypothesis of a former Lemuria, “is explicable only on the theory of the former existence of a Southern Continent of which Australia is a remnant. .. . . ” [the distribution of species] “points to the vanished land of the South where perhaps the home of the progenitors of the Maki of Madagascar may also be looked for.” 2

Mr. A. R. Wallace, in his “Malay Archipelago,” arrives at the following conclusion after a review of the mass of evidence at hand:  “The inference that we must draw from these facts is undoubtedly that the whole of the islands eastwards beyond Borneo and Sumatra do essentially form part of a former Australian or Pacific Continent . . . This continent must have been broken up before the extreme south-eastern portion of Asia was raised above the waters of the ocean, for a great part of the land of Borneo and Java is known to be geologically of quite recent formation.”

According to Hæckel:  “Southern Asia itself was not the earliest cradle of the human race, but Lemuria, a continent that lay to the South of Asia, and sank later on beneath the surface of the Indian Ocean.” (“Pedigree of Man,” Eng. Trans. p.73.) In one sense Hæckel is right as to Lemuria – the “cradle of the Human race.” That continent was the home of the first physical Human Stock – the later Third-Race Men. Previous to that epoch the Races were far less consolidated and physiologically quite different. (Hæckel makes Lemuria extend from Sunda Island to Africa and Madagascar and eastwards to Upper India.)

Professor Rutimeyer, the eminent Palæontologist, asks:  “Need the conjecture that the almost exclusively graminivorous and insectivorous marsupials, sloths, armadilloes, ant-eaters and ostriches, once possessed an actual point of union in a Southern Continent of which the present flora of Terra del Fuego and Australia must be the remains – need this conjecture raise difficulties at a moment when from their fossil remains, Heer restores to sight the ancient forests of Smith’s Sound and Spitzbergen.” (Cited in Schmidt’s” Doctrine of Descent and Darwinism,” p. 237.)

Having now dealt generally with the broad scientific attitude on the two questions, it will, perhaps, conduce to an agreeable brevity, if we sum up the more striking isolated facts in favour of that fundamental contention of Esoteric Ethnologists – the reality of Atlantis. Lemuria is so widely accepted, that further pursuit of the subject is unnecessary.

THE SANDS OF TIME ARE SHIFTING | | TheKingdomWithin

We are at a very important time in our planetary and personal ascension process this week.  We are surrounded by the symbol of infinity, the hourglass of time.  We have an hourglass planetary alignment occurring today and this week.  The hourglass is really the infinity symbol, which is a representation of time. Today 5/22/15 is a 8 day in numerology, which is also infinity.  In addition, we have something that fully supports the “flip” of our reality that I have written about. I have addressed the fact, in earlier papers, that we live in an upside down reality. It’s a mirror image of what we are moving to.  I can clairvoyantly see this and feel it, and today thanks to my friend Oka Fala, I have real proof that I am not an out of balance crazy mystic.  LOL….  I love astrology, it confirms my information and makes me not feel strange!  In his blog, which I will post a link for at the end of my paper…he states….this hourglass alignment occurs at the IX  XI gates, these are the 9

Excerpt from “The Occult Anatomy of Man”, by Manly P. Hall

The-Path

To the occultist, birth is death and death is an awakening. The mystics of ancient days taught that to be born into the physical world was to enter a tomb, for no other plane of nature is so unresponsive, so limited as the earth-world. Time and distance were prison bars chaining the soul to narrow en- vironments. Heat and cold tormented the soul, age deprived it of its faculties, and man’s life was but a preparation for death. As life is lived under the shadow of death, they taught that it is a mockery, a hollow thing, gilded to the careless eye but tarnished and worm-eaten upon close examination. The physical body became the sepulchre, tire tomb, the place of burial in which spirit lay awaiting the day of liberation when as a virgin spark it should arise again from the broken urn of clay.

Regarding The Eleusinian Mysteries …

33rd-degree Freemason Arthur Waite once said about The Legend of the Soul —

“Outside doctrine and ceremonial we know in fine that the Greek philosophy regarded the traditional history of Eleusis as portraying the legend of the soul. Persephone descends into Hades as the soul in the night of the body, but there is a way for liberation of the soul, as there was also one for Persephone, into union with the divine in the universe as into the arms of Demeter, and finally into the transcendent union outside all space and time and all that belongs to manifestation, as into the state of Elysium. In the light of these imitations Plato said—speaking of his initiation—that he beheld “eternal realities” and, in the proper understanding, that they were capable of restoring the soul to its primeval purity. I should add that the descent and return of Persephone are in virtual correspondence with the death and resurrection of other Mysteries. It is in this sense and within these limits that all Instituted Mysteries which have any claim on importance have the same story at their root. I shall recur this point more fully in a few moments because of its consequence in respect of Craft Masonry, It is like the Quest of the Holy Grail: a story told for the truest and the holiest that is in this world, because it is a mystery of grace in experience the outlines of which have been delineated in my study if Christian Mysteries, The excursus which follows arises out of the whole subject, but it deals with the concept of the Mysteries from a broad point, not merely within the measures of Eleusis.”

The Gnosis of The Eucharist

 by Stephan A. Hoeller

he Mass, or, as it is sometimes called, the divine liturgy or the Eucharist, is the most solemn of all the Christian sacraments. Through it we are led step by step to the purpose of our earthly lives — union with the divine — for at its climax the faithful are made one with God and each other by receiving the body and blood of Christ under the earthly forms of bread and wine.

Although these mystical aspects of the Mass have been known and proclaimed by all the branches of Christendom that have not abandoned the ancient sacramental system (including the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and, with some ambiguities, the Anglican), the rationalistic tendencies that have arisen since the Second Vatican Council in the Roman Catholic Church are robbing the Mass of much of its numinosity and psychospiritual utility.

Similarly, many in the occult, metaphysical, and New Age movements have little appreciation for the magic and mystery of the time-honored sacramental system of Christianity and within it for the supreme sacrament of the Mass. The older of these movements bear the imprint of nineteenth-century thinking, which was hyperintellectual, moralistic, and at times materialistic. The groups that have sprung up since the 1960’s are a bit more favorably disposed toward ritual than their predecessors, but their appreciation of the sacraments is still small. Much of alternative spirituality is thus in danger of losing touch with one of the most valuable aspects of the mystico-magical heritage of the West.

To be sure, there are valid objections to ritual. Its practice has often been accompanied by blind superstition. Still, it must be remembered that a lack of consciousness will regularly turn meaningful and transformative practices into superstitious ones. The fault is not with the ritual, but with the practitioner. Ritual, provided it uses authentic symbols, is no more or less than what H.P. Blavatsky called “concretized truth.” This may be covered up by superstition, but the hidden truth is always discernable beneath the covering. Gnostic studies of the sacraments are intended to free the kernel of truth from the accretions of unconsciousness and misunderstanding that have been permitted to obscure it.

In the following we shall deal with several separate approaches to the greatest of the Christian mysteries. Some of these may contradict each other, while others tend to complement one another, and still others will restate truths present in other approaches.

Deconstruction Q

“The Other Gospel” was a Hebrew Sefer added to the Old Testament and delivered to the Churches by James, Peter, and John.

Source: Deconstruction Q

Question: Why would Flavius Josephus, a practicing Jew, get involved in writing the Gospels.

Paul was a Jew. They were all Jews. Saulus/Paulus was also known as the Gospel writer Matthew. Philo’s method (explained fully in the book) reveals that Josephus was one of Paul’s sons, and Luke was probably his grandson.

The original plan between Gamaliel and Tiberius was to simply add a new story to Hebrew Scripture that would appeal to Israelites, Judeans, and Roman mythologists. Paul didn’t like what it revealed about the Nazarene’s deity, El Shaday, because her name reveals the unacceptable fact that she was “El with Breasts.” So he rejected it. However, he retained a version of the story of “Jesus,” but wrote out Mary Magdalene’s important role as the fulfillment of Micah 4:8 – 5:3. And he placed Jesus in Nazareth so no one would know he was to be associated with the NZR, Joseph, Rach-eL’s son, whose deity was El Shaday, also known as eL Ha eM, “El the Mother” and “El.”

Question: The Orthodox Church did not consider unifying the Gospels until Bishop Marcion rewrote the Gospel According to Luke to expel Jesus’ Jewish blood line.

It was not the “Orthodox Church” I’m reporting on. The Nazarean sect, based on NaZiR and NaZaR traditions beginning with Gen 49:25 in the OT, arrived in 6 CE, at the time of the Census, when “Bar-Jesus” and his twin brother “Judas” were born. I’ll say it again: the Nazarean sect was created to unify Israelites, Judeans, and Roman mythology. The plan was to add Sefer Marcei to the OT, and Jesus and Mary Magdalene were to fulfill the prophesies at Micah 4:8 through 5:3.

Paul refused to agree to having a “Goddess” returned to Judaism. So, he broke away and started his own religion ABOUT Jesus. I’m researching and reporting on what JESUS the Nazarene was actually about. He was a Nazarene, an Israelite. His deity was Father Light and El the Mother, El Shaday. When he wasn’t being “Jesus,” He was a Roman. The book reveals all the identities given to him in order to tell the whole story.

If you start with the premise that Christianity was invented before the Nazarenes were invented, you’ll continue down the path laid out by Paul and the Church Fathers. If you consider that Nazarenes can be traced to the Old Testament, which they can be, then you’ll be able to see what was really going on. Jesus and Mary Magdalene did not arrive in Jerusalem to do away with Hebrew Scripture, which is what Marcion’s Gospel does. Jesus and Mary Magdalene arrived to fulfill Hebrew Scripture, specifically Micah 4:8 – 5:3, and to return the “Goddess” to her position as “Daughter Jerusalem.”

Languages of the Cosmos, Part One: Exolinguistics, with Nancy du Tertre

There are dozens of examples of languages purporting to come from extra-terrestrial or other-dimensional sources? Some are channeled. Some are reported by witnesses to sightings as well as contactees and abductees. Some are associated with angelic beings of light. Some are sub-conscious products. Others are examples of possible fraud. While the study of these fragments, elements and accounts is extremely difficult, my guest (author of How to Talk to an Alien) suggests that they may lead to the equivalent of a Rosetta Stone that will enable detailed, two-way communications in an alien language.
