With the waxing crescent Moon in Aquarius and agent of attraction, Venus in trine aspect to change agent, Uranus, our senses are ignited with the promise of new things, the excitement of new people as the future seems somewhat brighter.
With Mercury retrograde, we are reminded to adjust our commitments to a brightening future.

The Third Eye has become a symbol of enlightenment, usually associated with visions, chakras, out of body experiences and other spiritual occurrences. Most traditions teach that the Third Eye is located in the middle of the forehead just above the eyebrows. Some beliefs say that the Third Eye is connected to the Pineal Gland. I’ll get into that at another time. I believe that the Third Eye is a gateway to higher consciousness that can be achieved through meditation.
This meditation video does not contain any subliminal messages. It does contain binaural beats that are calibrated to specific frequencies that have been observed during period of intense meditation and spiritual experiences. The frequencies start low, and entrain the brainwaves to patterns seen during meditation. Slowly the frequencies cycle up to more intense binaural beat patterns. These more intense patterns entrain the brainwaves to patterns observed in people who have claimed to utilize their Third Eye.
Get into a comfortable position where you will not be disturbed for an hour. Headphones are required. As you start the video, follow the instructions you see on the screen. As you begin your meditation, focus on allowing your Third Eye to open with knowledge and light.
If you’re like me, you probably think that 99% of the imagery around magic is … Silly. Embarrassing. Just downright tacky.
When I first got into magick, this was the first hurdle I encountered. The word “magic” itself is silly. The books are poorly designed, with airbrushed images of crystals and dragons and that kind of thing. Nine times out of ten, people who claim to be into magic dress like they’re at a Renaissance Fair, and behave just as foolishly.
PPFFTTT!!
Well, since the 80s and 90s, magic has become a lot more fashionable. It’s become popular in youth culture to call yourself a witch, talk about energy, etc. But still, in polite company, “magic” isn’t exactly a subject that’s taken seriously.
But it works. It works almost too well. Everybody from heads of state to business leaders to top celebrities are using it—they might call it magick, or they might call it something else. But this stuff is out there. It shows up in the most unexpected places. And all the tacky New Age aesthetics? As far as I’m concerned, that serves as a distraction from the real stuff.
For example, take chaos Magic, a postmodern system that emerged during the late 20th century in England. During the late 1970s and early 1980s, occult thinkers Peter J. Carroll and Ray Sherwin were looking to define a system of magic that didn’t accept the dogma of the traditions that came before it, and instead sought results based on performing the magical operations of given system. Chaos magic values an eclectic approach toward belief—and its practitioners will adopt new beliefs and identities as they see fit to match the results they’re looking to get. Influenced by the writings of early-20th century painter and sorcerer Austin Osman Spare, as well as taking inspiration for the ideas of countercultural figures like Robert Anton Wilson and William S. Burroughs, the early chaos magicians suffused a core system based on the individual practitioner’s achievement of gnosis, a state of altered consciousness that exists beyond reason and the senses.
While not exactly attracting such celebrities such as Tom Cruise or John Travolta, chaos magick does have its notable practitioners. Below is a list of seven of them.
William S. Burroughs was the author of classic countercultural works like Naked Lunch,The Soft Machine and Nova Express. Burroughs was fascinated by altered states of consciousness, and it shows in his hallucinatory writings—as well as his life-long drug habit. His interest in altered states of consciousness led him to a more schooled interest in magick, with a particular interest in Hassan i-Sabbah, whose dictum “Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted” was of particular influence on the system of chaos magick. Along with Bryon Gysin, Burroughs was one of the originators of the cut-up technique of writing.
Below, Burroughs lectures on the using power of magical states of consciousness to inspire the creative faculty.
Robert Anton Wilson’s books—like The Illuminatus! Trilogy and Cosmic Trigger—were early influences on the development of chaos magic. You could say that his suffusion of Sufism, Taoism, Zen, General Semantics, Thelema and a host of other philosophical and mystical traditions made him an early adopter of chaos magick.
Below, Wilson talks about his experiences channeling a higher intelligence from the star system Sirius.
Genesis Breyer P-Orridge is a highly celebrated artist and founding member of influential musical acts Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV. With Throbbing Gristle, Genesis was instrumental in the creation of industrial music—and with Psychic TV, helped to spearhead the burgeoning rave scene in the 1980s. In 1981, Genesis founded Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth, an informal international occult order.
Grant Morrison is the author of the The Invisibles, an epic comic series designed as a hypersigil inspired by a UFO abduction/mystical experience Morrison had in Kathmandu.
Morrison has been very vocal about his practice of chaos magic. Below is the talk that launched a thousand sigils.
Bonus: Morrison, along with Invisibles artist Frank Quitely, designed the sigil-heavy album art for Robbie Williams’ 2005 album Intensive Care. Williams was allegedly heavily influenced by Grant’s version of chaos magick at the time.
Alan McGee is the founder of Creation Records, the label responsible for launching the careers of the Jesus and Mary Chain, Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine and Oasis. Peter J. Carroll’s Liber Null was of particular interest to McGee, who said in an interview:
“I’m more into… the chaos magicians like Peter J. Carroll, Austin Osman Spare and the films of Kenneth Anger and stuff like that. And Grant Morrison… Liber Null was a massive learning curve for me… It was a life changer for me, that book Liber Null.”
Ultraculture previously did a deep dive on the occult symbolism in Die Antwoord’s music video for “Pitbull Terrier”—and the South African rap duo, consisting of Ninja and Yolandi, have been revealing more and more of their interest in chaos magic. Their latest record, Donker Mag, features an androgynous, nude Yolandi covered with sigils on the cover. Their latest music video, “Ugly Boy” heavily features imagery associated with chaos magic, such as the eight-pointed chaosphere.
The enigmatic and reclusive electronic music legend Aphex Twin (real name Richard D. James) recently spoke about the influence of chaos magick on his artistic output. In aGuardian article about his new album Syro, James stated that he “pretty much believes” in magic:
“Even if none of it’s true, it’s just a thousand times better than any science fiction film that’s ever been written,” he said. “You can’t only believe things which can be proven. It’s boring.”
He also opened up about the mysterious origins of his logo:
“You think of something that you want to happen, then you turn it into something that looks like a magic symbol, and then you put it out in the world, and it works,” James said. “It does … But if you tell anyone what the symbol means, then it will stop working. I’ve got a new [sigil] that’s been in development for ages but it’s not looking right yet.”
While not a chaos magician in a strict sense, Albarn is yet another celebrity who has recently “come clean” about his interest in the occult. A few years ago, Albarn released a concept album and opera about 16th century mystic and alchemist John Dee, entitled, simply, “Dr. Dee.” A 2011 piece in The Guardian reports:
Albarn is particularly fascinated by Dee’s “horrible” final years in ruined exile in Manchester after dabbling with the occult. “Magic and the occult are part of my life. I’ve got to come out of the closet with this,” admits Albarn. As well as spending time in Chetham’s Library, where Dee used to study and, legend has it, once summoned up the devil (there’s a burn mark on a table there supposedly from Satan’s hoof), Albarn reveals that he has actually tried to contact the “old man” spiritually to find out what went wrong. “He hasn’t told me anything,” he adds, dryly.
This is by no means a comprehensive list. Since chaos magic is among the more trickstery traditions of magic, a celebrity chaote just might be hiding in plain sight.

he Mass, or, as it is sometimes called, the divine liturgy or the Eucharist, is the most solemn of all the Christian sacraments. Through it we are led step by step to the purpose of our earthly lives — union with the divine — for at its climax the faithful are made one with God and each other by receiving the body and blood of Christ under the earthly forms of bread and wine.
Although these mystical aspects of the Mass have been known and proclaimed by all the branches of Christendom that have not abandoned the ancient sacramental system (including the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and, with some ambiguities, the Anglican), the rationalistic tendencies that have arisen since the Second Vatican Council in the Roman Catholic Church are robbing the Mass of much of its numinosity and psychospiritual utility.
Similarly, many in the occult, metaphysical, and New Age movements have little appreciation for the magic and mystery of the time-honored sacramental system of Christianity and within it for the supreme sacrament of the Mass. The older of these movements bear the imprint of nineteenth-century thinking, which was hyperintellectual, moralistic, and at times materialistic. The groups that have sprung up since the 1960’s are a bit more favorably disposed toward ritual than their predecessors, but their appreciation of the sacraments is still small. Much of alternative spirituality is thus in danger of losing touch with one of the most valuable aspects of the mystico-magical heritage of the West.
To be sure, there are valid objections to ritual. Its practice has often been accompanied by blind superstition. Still, it must be remembered that a lack of consciousness will regularly turn meaningful and transformative practices into superstitious ones. The fault is not with the ritual, but with the practitioner. Ritual, provided it uses authentic symbols, is no more or less than what H.P. Blavatsky called “concretized truth.” This may be covered up by superstition, but the hidden truth is always discernable beneath the covering. Gnostic studies of the sacraments are intended to free the kernel of truth from the accretions of unconsciousness and misunderstanding that have been permitted to obscure it.
In the following we shall deal with several separate approaches to the greatest of the Christian mysteries. Some of these may contradict each other, while others tend to complement one another, and still others will restate truths present in other approaches.

Here we are in the last month of the year and what a year it has been! This month, however, may prove to be a challenge for many with the misunderstanding of the winter solstice Dec. 21st. In this year, a lot of changes have already occurred in many ways, now it’s the full rotation of change coming to its completion.
During this month, call upon Archangel Raphael. He is here to help you through this time and to heal away your fears, worries, and concerns. Archangel Raphael, whose name means, “God Heals”, is here to shower you with his green light energy of abundance, healing and movement.
Healing comes in many forms. Whether physical, energetic, or spiritual, Raphael helps you on all levels. During this month call upon him to guide you with visions, signs, and messages and make sure to pay close attention to your surroundings after you ask. These signs will come in different forms such as songs, words in a passing conversation, and those unexpected things that pop up out of the blue. Dreams are also a good way to receive these things so please do your best to recall your dreams. A simple way is to keep a pad of paper with pen, or a recorder, next to your bed, and upon waking from you dream, take note of keys parts of the dream that will help you recall the full dream later. Upon deciphering your dream, you will see the message unfold. If you don’t know how to do this, seek out a person who does dream interpretation, like myself, to help you uncover the messages within your dreams.
With this month in 2015, understand it’s a shift of energy and conscious comprehension. Time for old ways to float away and for the veil to be lifted. It’s time to allow what was once thought to be so unbelievable, to be believable! Allow yourself to entertain ideas that you normally would not. Be optimistic and move with the momentum that is already there. Archangel Raphael will help bring forth what it is you need to address and let go and will also guide you to the learning that you need, helping you become more understanding.

Full Moon Meditation
Preparation: If at all possible for this healing meditation, allow yourself to stand or sit barefoot upon the earth in a quiet place bathing yourself directly in the light of the full moon. You may even want to do this meditation with a group of likeminded friends. This is a powerful opportunity to trigger an ongoing purification process of body, mind, emotions and spirit and of Mother Earth and for letting go of all that no longer serves you.
If you cannot do this meditation physically under the light of the full moon, then just imagine with all your senses what it would feel like if you were standing bathed in the light of the full moon.
Meditation: Breathe deeply, filling your lungs with the cool, crisp evening air, and then exhaling slowly and patiently, feeling worries, stresses and tensions just melting out of that body and mind, as you relax deeper and deeper. – It seems so easy to just let go and relax in the glorious light of the full moon – feeling so safe and so wonderfully supported by her nurturing feminine energy. – Each long, slow deep breath in and out taking you comfortably into deeper and deeper states of relaxation – Everything else is becoming unimportant and is fading into the background as you connect more and more with the energy of the full moon.
Now standing completely in the light of the full moon, raise your face to look directly at the moon. – Feel her energies blessing your face.- Experience her divine feminine presence.- Feel her cool, clear energy bathing you – your body now tingling with this purifying energy going into each and every cell, right down to the level of the DNA. If your eyes are not already closed, just allow them to softly close now.
Take you awareness to the top of your head to where the energy center called your crown chakra is. – Imagine that there is a pure white lotus bud there – Rotate this beautiful white lotus bud slowly anticlockwise until the petals are open wide and flat.
– Your crown chakra is now open. –
Feel the feminine energies of the moon now flooding into your whole being via your open crown chakra.- Now take your awareness to about 15 cms or 6 inches above your crown chakra to an energy center called the soul star chakra where you can connect strongly to the higher realms of light and love. Imagine another pure white lotus bud in your soul star chakra and rotate this slowly anticlockwise to open your soul star. – Feel your energy field beginning to expand with the inflow of more and more light.
Bring your awareness to the soles of your feet and imagine energetic roots developing from them and connecting to your earth star chakra about 15 cms or 6 inches below your feet.
Imagine those energetic roots going even deeper, grounding you firmly to the earth.
– A strong connection to your earth star chakra allows you to hold more Divine Light and Love in your body and energy field and also anchor this into Mother Earth. –
You may even like to visualize a downward-pointing lotus bud in your earth star chakra that you can rotate to open, connecting that energy center to deeper and deeper levels within the earth.
You may already be beginning to see or sense one or more of the divine feminine goddesses gathering close by, watching you through the eyes of Love.- Use your inner sight to become aware of at least one of the nurturing goddesses of the Divine feminine, such as Mother Mary, Kwan Yin – the Goddess of Compassion – or the Egyptian Goddess Isis, the Universal Mother Goddess. – Allow them to gather around you, silently, serenely and filled with Grace. – You may catch a glimpse of angel wings – or feel them gently flutter past as angels descend around you. – Experience this gathering of Divine Love. – Friendly nature spirits, the bridge between the 3rd and 5th dimensions, are being drawn to you now like moths to a candle flame. – Bathed in the moonlight, you are now encircled by these higher presences of light and Love.
Continue breathing in the pure white light energy of the full moon, drinking the moonbeams of Love into your very soul.
– Getting a sense now of every cell in your body being cleansed and purified. –
With your inner sight you may even be able to see your organs, such as your liver, being energized, purified and filled with transformational white light.
– Feeling or seeing your energy field expanding, as it is filling with white light, you are beginning to comfortably lose awareness of the boundary of your physical body. –
Experience your energy field tingling and merging with those of the assembled higher Divine feminine presences, all becoming one field of energy.
– Feel this energy of Divine Love intensifying. –
Feeling and finding that you are now effortlessly breathing rhythmically in and out of your heart.
– You are now heart breathing, connecting to the heart of the moon and the heart of the Earth –
You are now breathing deeply and rhythmically through your heart.
– It’s as if you have BECOME your heart. –
All you are sensing is your heart opening and expanding in bliss. – It may even feel a little ticklish inside like a heart orgasm. –
Releasing the heartache, the grief, the sadness, the relationships gone wrong, and all emotional hurt and pain that has been blocking the heart from fully experiencing Divine Love.
Feel yourself breathing Divine Love from this energy field into your heart, filling it to overflowing and then breathing Love back out into this unified field of Oneness.
– As the energy of your heart is expanding wider and wider, old energetic blocks are melting away and are being healed with Divine Love. –
In the serene silence you sense the rhythmic pulse of your own heartbeat now harmonizing with the heartbeat of all Creation.
– Underlying your own heartbeat is the heartbeat of Gaia, our Mother Earth, who nurtures and feeds us. –
Allow yourself to tune into this much deeper and more sustained heartbeat.
– You may receive it as a very subtle sense, or it may be quite strong. –
Take this opportunity now to say a prayer of Gratitude in your mind for all the ways in which Mother Earth sustains you.
Allow this energy of Divine Love to flow directly from your expanded heart chakra on the in-breath to deep into the heart of Mother Earth on the outbreath, via your earth star chakra.
– Wherever you are in the world, you are activating a portal of Divine Light and Love from the higher realms directly into the crystalline grid of the Earth. –
Allow yourself to imagine the awesome power of thousands of people across the globe all under the light of this full moon activating energy portals of Light and Love, or Divine doorways, connecting heaven and earth.
– See or get a sense of thousands of Lightworkers across the planet now opening these portals of Divine Light and Love, using the Divine Feminine energies of the full moon and anchoring these into the heart of the Earth and the crystalline grid. –
Take a minute to imagine this now. – How do YOU experience it? –
I’m seeing the Earth like a spherical, multifaceted clear quartz crystal radiating out brilliant radiant light.
– Spend some time now either channeling this Divine feminine energy of Love and Light into the crystalline grid generally or specifically to those places you feel are most in need of healing. –
How are you experiencing the energies shifting and changing in this crystalline grid?
Mother Earth has her own chakra system, with many ley lines sending energy throughout her chakra system and throughout the crystalline grid.
– Glastonbury in England is purported to be the Earth’s Heart Chakra. Bali is known as the World Purification Center where the two most important leylines of the Earth intersect, known as the feminine Rainbow Serpent and the masculine Plumed Serpent. –
You may like to intentionally send the energy of Light and Love to Glastonbury and/or focus your intent on feeding this energy into Bali at the intersection of these two strong leylines, which are rather like the aorta of the Earth.
– You are now contributing, as the powerful, magnificent Lightworker you are, to the purification, raising of consciousness and healing of Mother Earth and all her inhabitants. –
Imagine all the following receiving healing with Divine Love and Light: toxicity, pollution, environmental degradation, loss of rainforests, loss of animal habitats, stripping of resources, greed, war, political instability, starvation and suffering everywhere.

You are an agent of planetary change.
Realise your God-given power for the highest good of all. See or get a sense of the positive energetic changes that are taking place even now with the efforts of you and other Lightworkers around the world.
From this full moon until the new moon you will easily and effortlessly shed old outmoded beliefs, patterns, habits, people and material goods that have been holding you back from full expression as the magnificent healer and Lightworker you are.
When you are ready to come out of this meditation, you will see or get a sense of the angels and Divine feminine presences starting to recede gently into the background.
– Thank them for their nurturing love and support. –
Allow your energy centers to readjust themselves to being able to hold the greatest amount of Divine Love and Light that you can cope with vibrationally in your full waking consciousness.

Notes: You can repeat this meditation at any full moon, continuing to send more and more Love and Light into the Earth for healing.
Become aware of your physical body now and the cool, dark earth beneath your feet, grounding you safely and securely to Mother Earth. Still feeling yourself bathed in the moonbeams of cleansing, purifying white light, begin to wriggle your fingers and toes.
– Taking a couple of good deep breaths, feel yourself coming fully back into your physical body and having a bit of a stretch –
If you are so guided, you may place your hands in the prayer position in front of your heart and give thanks for being chosen as a Lightworker at this important time in history.
Have a glass of water, relax and allow the energies of Divine Love and Light to continue to integrate within every cell of your body, right down to the level of your DNA.
